Eco Rangers

The Bishop's Tachbrook Eco Rangers are continuing to wage their war on plastic this year. Last year we collected around 16kg of empty ball-point pens, felt pens, dry-wipe pens, mechanical pencils and tip-ex bottles and sent them off to be recycled. In the process of doing this we have not only saved 16kg of waste from going to landfill, but also raised money for the Brain Tumour Research charity as they received 2p per used item. Win, win!

We are continuing our collection this year so if you are having a clear out of your stationary, please send used and unwanted items in.

Last year we met with Plastic Free Leamington and Warwick representatives and began thinking of further ways to reduce Bishop's Tachbrook Primary School's plastic footprint. We will soon be putting our plans into action... watch this space!

If any parents or carers could free up an hour or so of their time to support our plastic free mission we would love to hear from you!
