Mrs Boak

Mrs Boak's portrait is drawn by Richie (Year 1) in the style of Yayoi Kusama. (You can find out more about the artist at the bottom of this page.)

Mrs Boak is a Year 6 teacher. We asked her some questions to find out more about her:

What was your dream job when you were a child?

I really wanted to be a doctor in the army as sport was very important to me as I was growing up, and I wanted to continue with the physical fitness through the army. However, having played so much sport and incurring injuries, I wasn't able to.

What was your favourite subject at school?

I loved PE at school, in fact, I still love all sports, especially netball, tennis and football which I watch now, rather than play!

What do you like to do when you're not at school?

I love spending time with my family and friends. Most weekends are spent walking my two black labs - Vespa and Harley - and standing on the side of a netball court or football pitch cheering on my daughters!

What is your favourite sweet?

Cadburys chocolate is my absolute fave! Along with cake (carrot, lemon or coconut are my favourite flavours, but I'll eat any cake as long as it doesn't taste of coffee or have jam and cream in the middle of it!)
